This is a unique bit that rarely comes out in our barn, but it has a very specific use. If you have a horse that really wants to break over in the pole and ride really low and give you that sense that they are pulling you over the front of your saddle, this is the bit we use. It offers the most shoulder control of any bit and has a lot of “magic.” If you want to drop the neck to round your horse and collect him, lower the bit a notch or two. If you adjust a notch or two up, you can help him break higher at the poll raising shoulders and better hindquarter weight distribution.
